Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly happening.
